myCHEF Hawaiʻi Island — Estate weeks

Wedding catering Big Island.

Kona–Kohala corridor: Mauna Kea resort belt, Waikoloa, the lava coast. One culinary team for the week. Published starting prices.

Kohala and Kona estate weeks

A wedding week on Hawaiʻi Island is a west-side estate week: Kohala Coast resort communities, Waikoloa, the Mauna Kea belt, Kailua-Kona and Keauhou. Seven luxury corridors inside about thirty minutes of each other. Welcome dinner, rehearsal, reception, recovery brunch. One team. Reception food follows the island card from $225 a guest in USD; servers and sous are hourly on top. Signature dinners $210–$325. The from-$165 dinner when the table is smaller and the kitchen is simpler.

The island is four thousand square miles. We will not fake a same-day Kona–Hilo round trip. East side — Hilo, Volcano — is quote-only, two-and-a-half to three hours, dedicated staffing. Waimea and Hāmākua are a surcharge. Kaʻū and the south are an extended surcharge with advance notice. The zone map is on the quote before a deposit. Ironman weeks compress the west-side calendar; flag those dates early on the quote form.

You inquire with myCHEF Hawaii. We assign the brigade when a west-side crew exists. No chef-name marketplace, no invented reviews. The published line is (808) 468-7748. Proof is the published card on the pricing page, a sample west-side menu, and a written week. West-side wedding kitchens

Kohala houses are the opening move: lava-coast terraces, resort residences, kitchens that can take a brigade if we design for them. Kona and Keauhou sit at the south end of the same corridor — town-side villas, coffee slopes inland, dry coast light. We shop west-side the day of service. Named farms and producer lines print only with written verification. Kanpachi, ranch beef, Hāmākua mushrooms, two coffee origins — the plate can still sing while a farm name stays unlabeled.

Guest counts: dinners for two to fifteen, receptions about ten to seventy-five. Elopements from $825 USD. If the estate lawn cannot hold the list, we say so. Buffet, plated, or family-style — staffing changes, the food band does not. Outdoor Kohala tables always carry a written wet-weather plan. Wind on the lava coast is a logistics fact, not a surprise. Building and resort-residence rules are arranged before the first welcome pour.

Ceremony-adjacent service is only what the site can hold. We do not invent venue exclusivity. Florals and photography stay yours unless quoted. We slot into a planner’s timeline. Cleanup is part of the night. The kitchen is left cleaner than we found it — including a Sunday recovery brunch that should feel like a house, not a second reception.

How a Hawaiʻi Island week is quoted

Open the quote form with Hawaiʻi Island selected. Name Kohala or Kona in the first message so we do not design a Hilo day by accident. Dates, headcount, service, how to reach you. Typical reply in Hawaii business hours. Written total: food from $225 a guest plus staffing, 20% service, GET up to 4.712%, 50% to lock the week. Gratuity is voluntary. Travel outside the Kona–Kohala corridor is a published zone line.

A west-side brigade holds one estate week; overlapping Saturdays are a no. Ironman and other event weeks flag early. We would rather decline an east-side Saturday than invent coverage. Menu direction and crew list come before anyone shops. Allergies belong in that thread. Rentals and tabletop are add-ons. The quote is exact before you deposit — see the booking terms for the reschedule posture if weather truly defeats the lawn.

Open the pricing page for the Hawaiʻi Island card. Open the catering page if the gathering is not a wedding week. Open the in-villa dinner page if it is one dinner. Send the dates on the quote form.

Distance, event weeks, and what we will not cover

Hawaiʻi Island punishes optimism. A Kohala welcome on Friday and a Kona reception on Saturday is a corridor we can write. A Volcano brunch on Sunday is a different staffing day — dedicated, quoted, never squeezed into a west-side load-out. We would rather lose that brunch than invent a same-day crossing. Waimea dinners sit on a surcharge line because elevation and drive time change the chef day, not because the beef is a story.

Ironman and other west-side event weeks compress lodging, traffic, and grocery windows. Flag those dates on the quote form as soon as they exist. We hold one wedding week at a time per crew. Coffee origin labeling will tighten how menus name Kona and Kaʻū cups; producer names wait on written verification. Until then the pour can still be good without a farm line we cannot prove.
