East-side service is real and regular — but it is priced as its own written quote, because a crew cannot dodge the Saddle. We would rather publish that than bury it.

The travel lines
Outside the Kona–Kohala corridor, travel runs from $75 as a published flat line. The east side is quoted per engagement. No competitor on this island publishes a travel policy at all — we put ours on the rate card.
Questions, answered
If it is in Kailua-Kona, Keauhou, Holualoa, Waikoloa, Mauna Lani, Mauna Kea, Puako, or the gated communities — yes, no travel line. South Kona (Captain Cook) sits at the edge and is typically inside or from $75. The written quote states it either way.
Distance. Kona to Hilo is 2.5–3 hours each way over the Saddle, so east-side events carry real crew logistics. Quoting them in writing keeps the per-guest price honest on both sides of the island.
