Format and spec
Family-style is the default — it forces the two families into one another’s conversations, which is the point. Twenty to sixty guests, one or two servers, the CORE band, and a menu built to survive an hour of hugging before anyone sits.
How it fits the week
First event in the wedding-week ledger. It doubles as the kitchen’s shakedown run — by the reception, the crew knows the venue cold.
Questions, answered
Yes — family-style holds gracefully. We plan a holding course for late arrivals and it is noted in the event spec.
